Exercise Benefits The Immune System And Reduces Stress

To optimize the immune system and reduce stress during quarantine, the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, through the Directorate of Sports Promotion, recommends to your community and society in general to perform physical exercise.
Physical activation makes antibodies and white blood cells circulate and act more quickly, which means they can detect and focus on operating on a virus, bacteria or external agents that are lurking more efficiently, said María del Rosario Islas Ramírez, of the university’s Physiotherapy Department.

Islas Ramírez explained that the immune system is the one in charge of producing the defenses that protect against certain diseases, if the immune system is well. “That is, with enough defenses you’re going to have weapons to prevent any disease; for example, it’s going to be very difficult for you to get the flu if you have enough defenses to attack and prevent outside agents from entering your body and starting to generate change:
It is important to have a correct diet rich in vitamins and minerals, in addition to complementing it with exercise in a fun way, because it brings many benefits to the body.

It also reduces stress levels, increases metabolism, improves physical condition, strengthens muscles. It’s basically a lifestyle that everyone should get back to.
